Important Information:
- All locations operated by Seattle Public Schools follow the bell time of the elementary or K-8 school and before/after care is not offered for preschool age children.
- Cedar Park is an SPP Plus location. SPP Plus offers inclusive education opportunities for general education students and a dedicated number of students who are on an Individual Education Program (IEP) through special education services. If your child is on an IEP, please contact the special education case manager to learn more and apply to this location.
- Interested in a tour? Please contact the Seattle Public Schools preschool team to learn about any possible upcoming open houses. Unfortunately, due to high demand and limited staff capacity, the SPS team is unable to accommodate individual tour requests. Additionally, school buildings are closed during summer break (July through late August).
- Attending SPP in a public-school building does not guarantee your child will attend that school for kindergarten. Kindergarten placement is managed by Seattle Public Schools and therefore is a separate process from our preschool program. SPP is not considered a feeder program into kindergarten at a specific elementary school. To learn how kindergarten placement works, please see the Seattle Public Schools’ website.
- The SPP enrollment process requires verification of Seattle address, and your child's age for eligibility purposes. Income is not an eligibility factor however families must submit proof of income so it can determine what, if any, tuition may be owed.
- SPP at this location follows the Seattle Public Schools calendar, including breaks and closures.
- SPP operates as a full-time preschool program running around 6 hours per day, 5 days per week. Flexible schedules, such as part-day or 3 days per week, are not an option.
